When you receive an IBAN via email or any message application, before sending the money, call the recipient to confirm its validity. More and more hackers tend to send phishing emails with changed IBANs, aiming to direct money to their bank accounts.

Cybersecurity Tip No 2:

Never send photos of your bank cards or your ID card via any message application. Even if you want to send just one side of it, there is a way for hackers to get to the information available on the other side, for example, with a phone call.

One-time passwords sent via text message can also be overcome by using a duplicated SIM card. So be careful when you share your banking information across the internet and do not keep your money in only one bank account.
